I also meant to say that I love the relationship between Terry and Charlie because it reminds me of the relationship that I have with my dad. Agree so much with this. I used to play football in my younger days and my Dad was just as enthusiastic as Terry. Happy times

Episode 6 simply for the quote "The band may be playing out of tune, but you can still dance to the music" when his wife asks him about his heart.

I know it is not an episode but I love the Bloopers on the Starlings DVD Extras. So funny.

They are. I know 'Who the f*ck is Vera' has become kind of notorious now, but my favourite bit is at the end when he drops the toothbrush and says 'It's alright, it's Jan's.'

I will just say nipple tassels! The hard part is to get the tassels moving in different directions, one clockwise and the other anti-clockwise at the same time. It requires hours of hard work, so I'm told!!!!!! Best bit for me was watching him work through all the possibilities re. the scout looking at Charlie and what he was thinking/worrying about as the scene went on. Beautiful writing, from maybe pervy to hilarious in seconds, and all that interior dialogue played with such beautiful subtlety.
